Urban Lab is a programme combining urban art, environmental action and transmission. Each intervention begins with a neglected place: residents, volunteers and artists clean, clear, sweep, remove waste and restore the site before painting and creating murals. Emerging and established artists are invited to work together. The July 2023 Graffiti Tour is a documented edition of the programme, with future actions and editions continuing the archive.
IDENTIFY
Find a neglected site and understand its surroundings, its uses and the people who move through it.
CLEAN
Clear, sweep, remove waste and prepare the site collectively with participants.
RESTORE
Repair and repaint surfaces to make the space clean, welcoming and durable.
CREATE
Bring emerging and established artists together around murals created for the place and its community.
SHARE
Open the final stage to residents through a public presentation, creative workshops, encounters, games and a shared moment.

This edition documents the full process: the site's original condition, cleaning and restoration, mural production and the final return to residents. Images uploaded here form the July 2023 field archive. Future editions will be added to the Urban Lab journal as the programme develops.

A FIELD FOR CREATING TOGETHER.
When the murals are completed, Urban Lab opens the site to residents through a public presentation: discovering the works, meeting the artists and introductory workshops in spray paint, stencilling and, where the setup allows, screen printing. Games and small contests accompany the moment, with occasional TRÄNCËNĐ pieces offered as prizes without shifting focus away from the project's purpose. Refreshments are shared on site. Residents are not only spectators: they take part, discover creative practices and collectively reclaim the transformed place.
